The University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), is a public university with a wide range of qualifications in all major areas of knowledge, with the aim of providing comprehensive training based on innovation, quality and internationalization.

 

The ULPGC, founded in 1989, stands out in the use of new technologies, in research related to the marine science fields and tourism among others. Is distributed across six Campuses, three of which are located in the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria; one in the municipality of Arucas (Gran Canaria) and another two on the islands of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.

 

 

 

The ULPGC has more than 20.000 students and 1,500 professors who carry out important research activity in 115 research groups.

 

The ULPGC seeks to lead, through its geostrategic position, a meeting point between Europe-Africa-Latin America. Project an attractive academic offer for neighboring countries in undergraduate, master’s and doctoral studies. Consolidate cooperation and transference in international research projects of mutual interest.

 

  • Mykolas Romeris University (MRU)

Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) https://www.mruni.eu/en/  is a public university with headquarter in Vilnius, Lithuania, that conducts studies in 19 study fields, such as accounting, communication, economics, education, finance, computer science, law, management, human resource management, pedagogy, philology (in English), psychology, political science, public security, social work, tourism and leisure, translation studies, public administration and business. MRU is the biggest social sciences university in Lithuania enrolling about 6000 students.

 

Established in 1990, MRU conducts teaching activities across two campuses located in major cities of Lithuania – Vilnius and Kaunas. Its 4 faculties offer over 20 Bachelor and over 40 Master’s programs, including 10 joint or double degree programmes. Doctoral and post-doctoral degrees are awarded in 6 areas: law, education, psychology, economics, management and philology.  MRU runs one of the most successful schools of law in Europe, scoring 201-250 in QS ranking in the field of law. Equity is one of the inherent aspects in legal research and studies. LegalTech center operated by the School of law facilitates the implementation of the first LegalTech LL.M. in Lithuania. MRU scores in Lithuania as internationally oriented university, as internationalization has been embedded into our strategy since the establishment of the university (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSEiA6Lod8g).  In general, MRU runs all cycles degree programmes taught in English language, and quite a number of them are implemented as joint programmes (including EMJMDs) or double degree arrangements with European and global universities. 600+ international students from 60+ countries study at MRU in our 20+ degree programmes taught in English or spend a semester or a year abroad as exchange students from our partner Universities. MRU cooperates closely with over 350 universities, public and private institutions, takes part in academic, professional, and inter-sectorial networks, pursues and supports an active policy of open access in research, and is strongly committed to sustainable development.

  • SWPS University

As a non-public higher education institution, the purpose of SWPS University is to serve people, society, and the environment through endeavors in education, science, art, and public engagement. We fulfill this mission as a robust institution, grounded in a community of employees, students, and graduates.

 

SWPS University was established in 1996 by three eminent professors of psychology. After close to thirty years of dynamic growth, we are proud to be a strong community of 500 faculty of researchers and experienced academics, who teach 16,000 students enrolled in 35 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs, across six campuses located in major cities in Poland. Our broad education offer includes 16 programs taught entirely in English to over 1,100 international students from more than 80 countries.

 

 

 

 

  • University of Macerata

The University of Macerata (UNIMC) – founded in 1290 – is among the oldest universities in Italy and the only one to have a focus entirely on humanities and socio-economic sciences (SSH). University’s motto “Humanism that innovates” illustrates its mission: to contribute to the development of people and society through the added value that social and human sciences bring to the understanding of complex socioeconomic and political issues, according to an interdisciplinary perspective. UNIMC enrols about 13000 students and permanently employs about 300 academics and 300 technical/administration staff. It includes five Departments: i) Law, ii) Political Science, Communication and International Relations, iii) Economics and Law, iv) Education, Cultural Heritage and Tourism, v) Humanities. In 2018, 2, out of 5, Departments were ranked as “Excellent” by the Italian Ministry of Research and University.

Students are offered a broad range of courses, including undergraduate (14 courses including 1 in English) and postgraduate degree programmes, Master’s (17 courses including 3 in English) and Ph.D. programmes (5 courses including 2 in English), specialisation schools (3 courses) and summer schools, double degree programs.

They can attend classes in cultural heritage, economics, philosophy, law, arts and humanities, languages, language mediation, communication, education, political science and tourism. The Giacomo Leopardi School of Advanced Studies offers excellent multidisciplinary teaching programmes for young and talented students. Thanks to the local Confucius Institute, the University of Macerata plays a leading role in promoting Chinese language and culture.

Internalization is a top priority of the University of Macerata: it is cross-cutting to both research and teaching activities, and constitutes a driver of innovation and improvement for both. The University of Macerata recognizes internationalisation as a driver of modernization for all the university’s core activities (teaching, research and third mission), as well as for the administrative processes.   • European University Viadrina

The European University Viadrina is a young reform university that made internationalisation at the core of its mission.

 

The University is situated at the German-Polish border, It was re-founded after the German Reunification with the special mission of fostering European Integration by building bridges to and developing dialogue with the neighbour country Poland and the other Eastern European countries. The University has accomplished this mission by becoming a recognized institution for education and research on Europe, European Integration, border studies and migration.

 

It has increasingly become a platform for political and social dialogue with the cross-border region and a space for experimentation of new challenge-based teaching and learning methods.

 

The European University Viadrina is a place where inclusion matters, disadvantaged groups gain access to University and women are empowered to reach leading positions in science and society.
